The Polar Air IRHS-V1 Infrared Handset is a compact control solution designed to provide global control functionality for all main and secondary units within a single installation. Using 1-directional infrared communication, it enables adjustment of temperature, fan operation, operating modes, and louvre swing settings. Lightweight and easy to use, the IRHS-V1 offers simple local control via a compact mechanical keypad. Only available with I-Type Control - developed by Polar Air for intelligent control, I-Type Control and it’s controllers includes ADBS technology for ΔT management and group control.

Technical Overview

The IRHS-V1 Infrared Handset delivers global infrared control for multiple units within a single installation using 1-directional communication. With a transmission range of up to 3 metres, it allows users to control temperature setpoints, fan operation, operating modes, and louvre swing functions from within the conditioned space.

The handset incorporates an onboard room air temperature sensor and supports a 16-30 °C temperature setpoint range. Additional functions include an On/Off timer and sleep mode operation. A compact mechanical keypad housed in a flame-retardant ABS casing ensures durability, while the included optional wall-mounting bracket allows for flexible placement. The handset operates using AAA batteries (not included).
